A lesson that completely reshaped how I build offers, sales pages, and client pathways.
I want to share a moment in my business that changed the way I think about selling, messaging, and the role design actually plays in conversion.
A while back, I invested in a group coaching program that was priced well over four figures. What surprised me wasn’t the program itself, but the way it was presented.
The coach didn’t use a beautifully designed sales page. She didn’t build out a high-production funnel. She had a website and branding, but none of it was the reason I bought.
She sold the entire program through a simple Google Doc with text and a single link.
And I bought it almost immediately.
It wasn’t the visuals that convinced me. It wasn’t a dramatic transformation story or a long list of features. It was the clarity in her message.
I didn’t need anything else. I didn’t need design to persuade me. I simply understood the offer.
That moment reminded me of something I’ve seen repeatedly in my work with clients.
Design supports the message. But it does not replace it.
We’ve worked with clients who had stunning branding, beautiful websites, and polished visuals, yet they still struggled to convert because the offer itself wasn’t clear.
We’ve also worked with others who had minimal branding, simple pages, and straightforward presentations, and they converted with ease because their message created connection, clarity, and confidence.
When people are confused, they don’t buy.
When they’re overwhelmed with too many choices, they shut down. And when your offers are scattered, it becomes harder for someone to understand what you do and how you can help them.
This is exactly why simple landing pages can outperform the most visually beautiful ones. They focus on one offer, one outcome, and one pathway. Nothing competes for attention.
After watching that coach sell through a Google Doc, I decided to test the concept myself. Instead of building a full sales page like I normally would, I wrote a Notion page to introduce a new VIP offer. No elaborate design. No web development. Just clarity written out plainly.
That month, I booked 5 clients and brought in over $3k with that single offer.
And after years of helping professionals build their online presence, we continue to see the same pattern. The landing pages that convert don’t start with design. They start with clarity.
You can have beautiful visuals, but if the offer itself isn’t clear, people won’t know how to take the next step. But when your message is focused and grounded, even a simple page can lead to immediate action.
This is the reason why we created The Magnetic Offer Workshop. We wanted to teach the clarity work that comes before design, before templates, before visuals.
Inside the workshop, we’ll walk you through the same process we use with every client before we ever touch design. You’ll learn how to Identify your one magnetic offer:
- Shape the messaging that communicates it clearly and confidently
- Learn the essentials that help your landing page convert
- Create an implementation plan that doesn’t feel overwhelming
And because we want you to be able to apply this immediately, we’re also giving you the template you can use to shape and structure your offer! It’s the same exact template we use ourselves as well as guide our one-on-one clients through, and will help you organize your thoughts in a way that feels grounded, aligned, and actionable.
This clarity work is the foundation that makes everything else in your brand feel coherent and intentional.
