Hey guys! I know it’s been over 3 months since I last updated my blog post.. I’ve been feeling really demotivated lately. Not exactly sure what’s wrong with me these days. After I lost my job, I just lost all of my motivation and have been slowly trying to ease back into it. K on the other hand has been trying to get my momentum up and running again but it doesn’t seem to be the same. It is difficult to keep yourself motivated, I know everyone has that same issue. I am just the same.
So what’s new you ask ? What have I been doing during these last 3 months ? Well, for one I got a new job as a travel coordinator at a construction company. I tried job searching on my own applying to some jobs, trying to get interviews. I didn’t work for at least a month. However, when I lost my job at Future Electronics I was able to get another job within 2 weeks and started at my current job by beginning of January. Mind you, I did not end up getting another selling job like I planned but I did get a job kind of more within my field of study which is management. I didn’t get a job in human resources .. but I did manage to get a job coordinating travel all thanks to a recruitment agency. The first job they presented to me was the immediate job I went for. And it’s all for good reason! Great people, great atmostphere. Smaller company yet it is the kind of company I feel I would stick to for awhile. Great experience in coordination and accounts payable. It was my chance to learn something new! Best of all…. free in house gym!!! Booyah !
Apart from securing a new job, I’ve been trying to train my brain with phone games such as Elevate (brain training app) and other fun games such as Cooking Dash 2016 (so freaking difficult though I like a good challenge). After all, what K said was true.. your brain is like a muscle. If you don’t train it everyday how will it ever grow ? K also got me into using Evernote which is a great productivity tool that has been endorsed by many inspirational speakers. It’s like an online notebook you can share with your friends to write notes and share articles. I suggest you guys give it a whirl.
So guys, let this be my first gesture to getting myself back on the right track starting with a new post after 3 months of inactivity. Let’s see how long I can keep this up for.
Leggo! X.O.X.O.
