The Challenge
Jodi Tingling came to us as an established career psychotherapist and organizational consultant who had built her own website. While she had done her best to execute her vision, there was a growing disconnect between where her brand was headed and what her online presence was communicating.
The core issues she was facing:
- Her website was stuck in an earlier chapter while her confidence, vision, and offers were expanding.
- She initially focused on B2C (individual career therapy), but realized mid-project she actually wanted to prioritize B2B (organizational trainings and workshops).
- She served three distinct groups (career psychotherapists, organizations, and career professionals) with no visual cues to help visitors quickly identify relevant content.
- She was on Shopify (not an ecommerce business) and unknowingly paying for two hosting platforms for years.
- Her existing color palette felt dull and didn’t reflect the playful, vibrant energy she naturally brings to her work.
The Approach
We started with clarity before design. Through a detailed intake and content planning process, we helped her organize her ideas and identify her true business focus.
Midway through the project, she realized she wanted to shift from a B2C focus to a stronger B2B positioning centered on trainings and workshops. We adjusted the entire website strategy to reflect this shift.
From there, we refined her brand to better reflect her personality and growth, updating her color palette, introducing more vibrancy and personality into her brand, and creating subtle visual cues to clearly guide multiple audiences throughout the site.
